    Design for live performance has historically been a great challenge for architects and builders. Geiler & Associates, LLC emphasizes solutions tailored to the client’s intended performance type but also with the flexibility to support other uses. Because economic requirements often dictate the need for multi-faceted facilities, our approach has to been to emphasize this flexibility of use and the capacity for rapid turn-around between functions. Geiler & Associates, LLC personnel have been involved with the design of successful performing arts facilities with a variety of live performance requirements.

  • Lincoln Center Renovation
    Fort Collins, Colorado

    The Lincoln Center consists of a 1,180-seat performance hall and a 220-seat theatre, three galleries, and an outdoor sculpture/terrace/ performance garden. It also has two conference /special events rooms.

    Provided interior acoustic design, full fly rigging, and audio & video system design services to update and correct existing issues within the performance hall and theatre.

    Multipurpose Auditorium
    Science Museum of Minnesota

    St. Paul, Minnesota

    Science Museum of Minnesota Auditorium consists of a 330 seat multipurpose auxiliary auditorium. The auditorium acoustics were reinforced with slotted wood panels to provide both absorption and diffusion.

    The auditorium was design to be used for a variety of performances including concerts, music, dance,
    film, lectures and slide presentations.

    Carmina Burana Production

    University of Wyoming
    Laramie, Wyoming

    Designed and implemented a Mono-Surround audio system in the existing Concert Hall for a ballet performance of Carmina Burana. The audio system converted a standard left-right recording into mono-surround, which completely enveloped the audience, drawing them into the performance on the stage.
